Clean and inspect all hardware prior to installation. Look for obvious defects or shipping damage, plus proper fit, length and dimensions
To ensure proper thread engagement and accurate torque readings, clean the threads in the end of the crankshaft. Chase if necessary with a Thread Chaser or Tap
Lubricate the threads of the bolt, underhead of the bolt and the front face of the balancer (where the washer contacts the balancer) with ARP Ultra-Torque Fastener Assembly Lubricant (included with bolt). Then install the washer onto the bolt and install the bolt hand tight.
Tighten the balancer bolt to 235 ft-lbs
