This sealing ring is typically found on GEN 3 LS engines (LS1, LS2)
Make sure to check your drain plugs sealing ring before purchasing as LS engines came with two different types. This black one has a sloped step between the outer and inner rings and a blue one (GM-3536964) with a slope between the rings.
