Product details
Totals Seals Quick Seat cylinder lubricant gives quicker ring seating, promotes longer ring life and promotes better leak-downs.
One of the additional benefits to this dry lubricant is it provides a good indication that the bores have been cleaned properly as the lubricant will go a green colour if its clean and a black/silver colour if its still dirty. See instructions below for more details on this.

NOTE: A little bit of this lubricant goes a long way, so excessive amounts should not be used.
Instructions below are for reference only and you should always follow instructions included with packaging to ensure you're following Total Seals latest recommendations.
After honing and final cleaning of the block, the cylinders must be thoroughly cleaned and all honing oils and metal removed from the crosshatch.
The best way we have found is to wipe cylinders with a lint-free rag using a lacquer thinner or brake cleaner. Then the cylinders should be wiped entirely with a very light penetrating oil (such as WD-40) and wiped entirely dry with a clean rag, this will ensure the crosshatch is clean.
Apply cylinder lubricant with finger to the entire cylinder. If the cylinder was clean, the powder would turn the cylinder a greenish tint, this is the desired effect. If the power turns the cylinder a black or silverish colour, the crosshatch was still dirty and you should clean the cylinder again and reapply.
